Be 1 in 1000

For your sisters, mothers, daughters and anyone you love:

History matters.
Race matters.
Precision medicine matters.

We study the genetics of African American breast cancer to help understand why it runs in some families.  Genetic studies need many people and families (1000+) to find new breast cancer genes.

With your help, we can make a difference! We need to work together to improve African American breast cancer outcomes.
Your participation in genetic research helps to increase diversity.  It can help uncover breast cancer risk in your family. It can also lead to the development of cancer therapies that can specifically help your family and all African Americans.

WE NEED YOUR HELP.
